Abstract

Currently, violence is considered one of the issues related to health and safety in the workplace. Sexual violence in the workplace is a worrying issue for every woman in every workplace, and it is a global problem that is increasing and causes women to feel unsafe in the workplace. This research is aimed at violence against working women in the workplace. As half of the country's population, women play an important role in employment and development of the society. Violence against women in the workplace is one of the crimes that endangers the safety of working women and has harmful consequences for women. Women usually remain silent about these crimes due to the fear of receiving unfair labels, job loss, dishonor and isolation, and in the best case they try to change their work environment and in the worst case they may give in to the demands of the criminals. The issue of committing violence and sexual harassment against women in the workplace is one of the most important and sensitive concerns. Violence against women has various and continuous effects and consequences both for the victim and for the organization and the whole society. This issue is not only effective for the health and mental health of women, but also has destructive effects for the performance of the organization and social relations.
